I'm so old. I remember when a burger was .79 (and a cheeseburger was .89). Now Burger King charges .80 for ONE SLICE of cheese. And a Wendy's single burger for 1.99 is a hot deal. Yikes. Been awhile, is a Dave's single different than the burger you used get with a "biggie bag"?

Yep … I don't see it in the app yet, but they have an ad for the $1.99 Single plastered on their main website now, so it should be pretty widespread … https://www.wendys.com/

I think their app offers usually appear right around lunch time, if I remember correctly.

True, but the one near me has apple bites for 99¢ or a junior Frosty for $1.29. I was worried that the apple bites might not work since they're under $1, but it appears to accept it. And even if it was a little more, I'd still probably go for the Single over some of the other cheap-o burger deals, as it's a decent sized patty. A lot of the really cheap burgers today are the little 1.6 oz patties. The McDonalds deal can get a triple cheeseburger for $1 if you add an extra patty, but I'd still rather have a bigger regular patty … the little puck patties just don't have the same texture as normal quarter pound type.

Also note that the expiration for the Wendy's deal shows as 9/19, but their deals expire at like 4 or 5 am … so you can use it after midnight, but the offer won't be around for lunch tomorrow.

would be a good deal if their hamburgers tasted good still, ever since covid or maybe prior to that when Dave died, their food is shit, every time i tried it, same shit, same shitty service,, but the food sucked big time every time
