Nope, not EVER going to be tricked into purchasing Creality filament again. This company does not know how to make quality filament, much less printers.

I've never used cardboard spools. What's the problem with them? Moisture absorption?

Edges fraying inside AMS. Mine also came crumpled and deformed from the factory vacuum bag in china. This is when i ordered directly from elegoo. Black spools from amazon elegoo pro are a little better and not deformed in the bag but i'm still going to replace the cardboard spools.

There's little adapters you can print specifically for your use case with this filament.

I prefer not to print adapters. I don't even know how PLA or PETG will behave in the AMS when i go up to 65 degrees for PETG. I've seen warped printed PLA spools. I have some reusable SUNLU spools that i can use. Or i can use cardboard externally. I don't use AMS for multicolor. Only for drying. Got enough poop.
