I hate these because I can never get a clear picture of fair discounts in one spot. Like yeah they're 40% off but if you try to search your airport or even using the fair calendar I can just never find deals that good and it's frustrating.

Flying Ontario airport, all my flights got so inflated that 40% off is actually more expensive than last week's fares! Fake sale, at least for ONT.

The majority of ticket cost is airport, 911, carrier fees etc. So 40% off the base fair usually wont result in much savings ... the majority of costs is beyond the carriers control

I find that prices typically vary across the promotion period, but usually are not the lowest right at the start. Maybe it takes some time for the discounts to reflect in their POS

Thanks to their incompetence , I found Delta and never turned back.. even direct flight now instead of layovers is a bonus.. but then Delta adds two bags for free if you have their CC... Southwest really screwed up a good thing
