I like down for a comforter, but not a pillow. It compresses too much with my fat head. Latex has been the winner for me.

How do they compare to https://www.costco.com/.product.100504550.html
Well, the one is poly in the outer layer, the other is down. If you prefer plastic to goose down, then it's an easy choice.

If you're not allergic to feathers, you might develop an allergy with prolonged exposure to them. Be careful, the down feathers keep poking through the covers.

Probably the only way to make it breathable.

I also love my down mattress topper, was the missing piece to get that hotel bed feel.

Hello fellow fat head, do you have a recommendation on a pillow? I am tired of stacking my tortilla pillows once they flatten out

Can chime in here as a fat head. Found myself at a holiday inn express (no joke). They had a bilayer down/feather pillow that was awesome. No longer for sale online but this looks similar. Suspect this one is too thin because of the price though.

Queen-sized Talalay latex with a 5.9-6" thickness is what I eventually got and love. The specific one I have isn't available anymore, but I don't think it's anything special over other pillows in the $40-45 range (2024 dollars).

Talalay is marketed as being nicer than dunlop latex (which is cheaper), but they're just a little different. Dunlop is generally firmer whereas Talalay is bouncier. Both are supportive, though, and you don't really sink into them like you do with most memory foam.

Just slept on mine last night. Nothing great. Not awful, but don't recommend.
