I like down for a comforter, but not a pillow. It compresses too much with my fat head. Latex has been the winner for me.

If you're not allergic to feathers, you might develop an allergy with prolonged exposure to them. Be careful, the down feathers keep poking through the covers.

Can chime in here as a fat head. Found myself at a holiday inn express (no joke). They had a bilayer down/feather pillow that was awesome. No longer for sale online but this looks similar. Suspect this one is too thin because of the price though.
