$20 isn't a good deal. There are a lot of compressors in that $20 price range that are just as good. The main things you're looking for is


battery size. You need at least 4000mah to reliably inflate 4 tires from 25 to 35 PSI without needing to recharge the batter.
speed of inflation. Most air compressors takes 90 seconds to inflate 30PSI to 36PSI. More powerful ones takes 60 seconds.

Amazon has a ton of them, so if you want to search, you can usually find one for cheaper. I bought this one for $14 with 6600 mah and can inflate a tire in 60 seconds and it's working really well for me..

But there's a lot in the range of $12 to $16 that's just as good as OP's tire inflator.

Anyone has experience with this? Especially comparing to the ryobi 18v one. I just don't like the Ryobi one as I have to drag a battery with me

Bought this maybe a year ago. It works well. I've used it quite a bit for a super slow leak tire. No issues so far.

Li-ion battery and heat don't mix well, be carefully about leaving this in the car as a backup when temps in the car exceed 100degF especially common in the summer as this will degrade the cells . Li-ion is nice tech but unfortunately not stored in the ideal environment it would typically be in.

Right. This one is weak and slow. Any device that moves air should be rated in CFM not time it takes to raise pressure in a very small car tire by 6psi. More Chinese garbage dumped on the American consumer.

I bought the combo one with kilo starter for around $49 around April. I haven't seen it on sale since at that price. So I bought the jump starter by itself for $20 a week ago. But it would be convenient having both in one machine

A tire inflator that does not have a built in Li-Ion battery, so would get its power from 12V connection to the car battery. More traditional tire inflator.

Yep. It will eventually become e-waste. I get that. But it's always going to be stored in the car, I don't want something huge, cigarette lighter plug compressors are crazy loud and hot, plus running the cord around is a PITA. It would be awesome if there was one with a user replaceable LIfePO4 battery, but until I can find one of those I sadly think I can live with a little e-waste.
