Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition is a huge open world RPG that shines once the Skells unlock, with exploration and combat made much smoother by the quality of life updates. The game offers a lot of content and long playtime, with voiced main quests and many side quests adding to the value. The Switch 2 upgrade pack is also called out as worthwhile for smoother gameplay. The main knocks are that the added chapters feel disappointing, the story is still seen as a bit lacking, and the streamlined changes make it significantly easier.
The SAVE3X promo code worked for some shoppers and the game shipped to a home address quickly.
The Definitive Edition adds quality-of-life improvements that streamline exploration and battle gameplay.
The game becomes more enjoyable after unlocking the Skells, which improves the overall experience.
The Switch 2 upgrade pack is described as worth it for smoother gameplay and voiced important quests.
The promo code can be used multiple times, which may let shoppers buy both games if desired.
The promo-code workaround involving adding a banana may have been patched after it stopped working.
The SAVE3X promo code may be targeted and not work for everyone, including some Walmart+ accounts.
