the levers do look bigger than some I've had in the past, which were a nuisance to turn

Zinc alloy... Just stick with copper only parts for anything hose related and be happy and trouble free for many years.

You mean bronze, not copper.

I received them. They hit all the check boxes. Easy to screw on with the extra grips, metal connectors, large levers. On the lever size, I had one with small levers and it was a pain at times to move them. As for build, it is metal connected to plastic. Will be interesting to see how long they last. If I forget to release the pressure and we have a light freeze at night, I expect them to crack easily. All together, they didn't leak, they stop the water, larger levers, and they are easy to put on. For 4.99 is great, but I don't expect it to last multiple years.
