Sony's shift toward a digital-only future creates a closed ecosystem where they are the sole software distributor and absolute monopoly for PS5 games. PC gaming at least allows you to shop around at different digital stores, which is exactly how a competitive, capitalist market is supposed to work.

Exactly that. Playstation was always physical and even released PS5 with a disc drive. Now they decided to essentially make our PS5 disc versions obsolete with future games. Thats some BS.

Xbox is looking good right now. I'll keep supporting them and Nintendo so long as they keep physical alive.
