These things need full mesh support with their existing Flint line so that it can be used as an extender at home.

I heard this is slower than the ugly looking Beryl 7 and it gets hotter too.

Will this work ok on a cruise ship that provides wifi via per day access? I assume this would have MAC cloning, but also to get past their portal login page seeing this device as one but allowing multiple thereafter.

I hate how they advertise WiFi 7 in the latest beryl and slate and it is only dual band (2.4 + 5). I'd buy if it had the 6Ghz band. I'll keep using my beryl AX until then.

I understand I may have to wait a while to get a portable device this size, low power consumption running 3 radios, and at a reasonable price

I have an older Wifi 5 version that I feel like is still excellent for travel. I think it was like $35. While I have Wifi 7 stuff at home with a 5gbps fiber line, I just don't need Wifi 7 speeds in a hotel or wherever else I'm traveling. I'm wondering how many people would take advantage of anything that would remotely saturate a Wifi 7 connection that can justify the added expense here.

I have both Slate 7 and Mudi 7.

Problem with Slate 7 is that it cannot do MLO, so i can only choose between 5Ghz or 6Ghz. I have some devices that can only do 5Ghz, so those will fall back to 2.4Ghz if I set the wifi to 6 Ghz.

Can't wait for the new BE10000 to get approved, it can do MLO

For people using this for cruises or VPN, is it possible to use a rooted Android phone (or two rooted Android phones) to accomplish what you need?

Slate 7 specs has 2.4GHz and 5GHz, missing the 6 GHz - can you elaborate on your example? Thx
