I bought this last time I saw it here on a deal. I've used it daily to shave my head and face. I really like it. The only thing I'd complain about is the charging cord is a proprietary cord. Wish we could all get on the USBC boat so I can ditch all other cords.

Thanks. I went ahead and bought this as a backup / travel shaver. It takes SH30 blades and just the replacement blades typically go for $20-$25. My daily driver is a 20 year old 8880XL that is still going strong (I did replace the batteries) and it also takes SH30 blades.

I also having been using this weekly for my head and face. I buy a new one every Black Friday because it is cheaper than the replacement head

Here's a USB-C adapter [amazon.com] that claims to work with the 5000x (many other adapter / usbc cord options on Amazon as well). I use a similar 15V adapter for my old 8880XL.
