Didn't Apple just update the Macbook with M5 Pro chips? I don't think new one is coming soon.

Around 6 months ago. The average update time is around a year, so approx March next year for the M6 Pro chips.

Apple released M5 Pro version of the MacBook Pro on March 11th, 2026. Rumors say M6 version will launch next month, along with a possible design refresh

Last year they released the base M5 with MBP in October 2025. The M5 Pro chip MPB came in March 2026. So it's not out of character to do multiple updates within a year for them.
