This titanium cutting board is drawing attention more as a cheap metal slab than as a knife-friendly prep surface. The low price makes it appealing for repurposing as a serving tray, mixing board for epoxy or spackle, or even a boat gauge holder. The surface is described as rough and hard on knife edges, with concerns that it could dull blades quickly. There is also skepticism that it is truly pure titanium at this price and weight. Dishwasher cleanup is the main practical upside.
The board may work as a low-cost mixing surface for epoxy or spackle projects.
The board can be easier to clean by putting it in the dishwasher.
The board could be repurposed as a gauge holder on a boat when knives must stay clear.
The surface can be rough and hard on knife edges, which may dull blades faster.
The item may not be pure titanium because its weight is lower than expected for the stated dimensions.
The board may damage or dull a knife after only one use.
The $4.99 price may not match expectations for a true titanium cutting board.
