Hi bluekiwi, i'm not having any issues. Did you select the bottom shipping choice? If so, I do not know. Frown

For some reason freeship code works with monthly option though?

if the monthly membership option is used, they charge you for the membership (1 month) but deduct it from the item price if you use the coupon code

Only choose that one if you want a membership. Although you can cancel at anytime, (it's like S&S w/Amazon). I have no idea why it's not working for you with the other shipping option.
I'm assuming you tried FSDEALS?

Those MSRPs are completely inflated. Both Walmart and Best Buy regularly sell this cooker for $29.99.

Anova has gone downhill since the 3rd gen came out about 5 years ago because most of their new models have no buttons which means you're forced to use their buggy phone app just to control the unit which is really annoying since I don't always carry my phone while I'm cooking because I don't want to accidentally damage it or get it wet. They have never fixed their buggy software since their 2nd gen unit came out with buttons & optional WiFi built in so this is a hard pass. I have a 1st gen and 2nd gen Anova without WiFi and they both still work great. Literally all my friends who upgraded to the WiFi models hate them because the software bugs out so often and they have had multiple long cook dishes ruined because their software either stopped the unit and turned it off, or kicked up the temp to max, either way it ruined their dishes.

This isn't even worth getting for free because when, not if, the software bugs out and it ruins even 1 dish of yours, that will cost you more in ruined food than you paid for this. Get the latest Anova model that does NOT have WiFi built in called the Anova 3.0 because it is stainless steel and has a better clamp design that fits a wider range of containers. The Nano 2.0 is also an OK alternative but that one is all plastic and will become brittle and crack after maybe 4-5yrs of regular use whereas the Anova 3.0 has the stainless steel bottom section so it will last longer.

Subscription service for $1.99 per month . An infamous subscription for Anova. You do not need it , only let you control from mobile app.

I've only used mine once, to souse vide two ribeyes, and it worked perfectly. The temp matched my probe exactly and it maintained the temp the whole time. No app issues.

Not sure what else one could want, especially at this price.

I still have the OG anova that's still kicking. Even after they nerfed/paywalled the app (lame) I can still just spin the wheel on the unit and press the button. Whew!

Sous vide steak transformed my home cooked steaks to restaurant grade - just sear them after the sous vide process. I have the first gen anova and it's doing just fine
