Community Reviews
The cordless electric scissors are aimed at breaking down boxes and thick cardboard faster than a utility knife, especially when heavy shipping cartons need to fit into a recycling bin. They seem handy for Amazon boxes and piles of cardboard, and the USB C charging is a plus. The main cautions are that the listing reviews appear mismatched, and thicker or stapled cardboard can require multiple passes or feel underpowered. At this price, it looks like a practical box cutter for occasional heavy-duty cleanup.
Common Questions (3)
At $15, they can be worth trying if you regularly cut lots of boxes and want a faster, safer alternative to a utility knife. They are less compelling for thick, stapled cardboard or if you only open occasional packages, since performance can be underpowered and may require multiple passes.
They work well for breaking down Amazon boxes and other large shipping boxes, especially when you need to flatten them for a recycling bin. Thick cardboard can take multiple passes and may get stuck, but they can still be easier than ripping boxes apart or using a utility knife on bulky material.
The review section appears to be mismatched, with many reviews showing a cordless screwdriver instead of the box cutter. That makes the listing look potentially janky or misleading, so the review count may not reflect this exact product.
