May not normally be an amazing deal looking back at the past prices for motor oil, but with the sudden increase in motor oil and other lubricant prices, it would be wise to grab some before you need it.

Must clip the "Get $4.00 Walmart Cash" box in order to receive the Walmart cash.

Shipping is free for Walmart+ or $35 cart

Have this in my Corolla right now. Got it awhile back and stacked a promo for $4 WM cash and a $10 rebate with it being on sale for $26.

Remains to be seen if it's actually cleaning as well as Valvoline restore and protect.

Otherwise you're right to stock up while it's at this price.

Highly recommend switching from 0w16 and 0w20 to 5w30 to protect these newer engines - especially turbo 4s.

An 0w20 is probably fine and not a bad idea. I have some concerns 5w30 would push the viscosity curve out too far.

If your car is sold abroad, check the other manuals. USA refuses to allow publishing less fuel efficient oils, which may better protect the engine.

My roadster is rated for 5w30 in the US and 5w30 or 0w40 in Europe. Guess which I use?

It wasn't really meant to clean as well as VRP but more of a mild competitor to it.

Based upon the market currently, I highly recommend buying motor oil whenever you find any type of deal

The first number is for cold starts, the second number is for operating temps. If your car is rated for 0w oil (newer engines with tighter tolerances), you should use that unless you live in a place that never gets cold. Wear happens on cold starts, you want lighter oil to reach the parts of the engine quicker not slower. Buy a 0-30 if you need that a higher weight. When I had a ricer 30 years ago, I would use 0w-50 Mobile 1. Good but expensive.

Valvoline still has their $5 off 5 qts rebate, which makes Valvoline a little cheaper.

I got both but the cup is still in the box. If you pay postage I'll send it to you 🙂

2nd time mobil stiffed me on the rebate. This time I called and they said they made an "error" and resubmitted my rebate... Still no rebate 2 months later

Never had problems with Pennzoil rebates...just saying

Just get Super Tech oil from Walmart. 5 quarts for $25. Great oil at a great price and no need to worry about a rebate.
