I think this chair is better because it has more auto programs and features. Also Costco charges tax at checkout, this is no tax just $1299 out of the door.

Having physically seen the Costco chair, I can confirm SociablePanther790's comment. This Osaki AmaMedic Astoria has a better design and functionality in the leg massage "balloons" for lack of a better term. The controls on this unit offer more variety than the Costco version as well.
