Any chance this camera would work with On if and/or my Synology Surveillance Station? What about any integration into Home Assistant. I know this is asking a lot for a $13 camera 😁

Can anyone care to comment the possibility that these won't end up the way of Yi Home?

This seems like a great platform...but Yi went from free to pay for play and tons of invasive ads...

Sometimes there is a way to enable it and get the IP address from the config even though ONVIF is not specified but its a gamble. I have four sitting in y basement that won't connect to ONVIF DVR

I agree about Yi Home. It is completely unusable now and I have a ton of useless cameras. If anyone knows this or another ecosystem that is user friendly please share, thanks!

The TP-Link Tapo C120 supports local RTSP access. Saving a few dollars to commit to a proprietary platform that might not be around in a month, or a week, makes no sense to me.

Will it put out an RTSP stream? Worthless if it doesn't.

Yes the Tapo C120 is nice. I made a stream viewer widget app to use on my PC with it.

If you don't mind sharing how you did that, I have several Tapo cams and would like to view on my PC. Thanks

You can give it a try if you want. I have only used it on my PC with a single C120. https://github.com/RYJASM/rtsp-ca...s/tag/v1.0
