I can already guarantee you the same sets of two comments that always follow every knife thread.

1. Just remember to never ever load them in the dishwasher. Hand wash only and sharpen after every use. Rinse in cold water with like colors. Hang to air dry. With proper care you can hand them down to your grandchildren like an heirloom, as sharp as the day you bought them.

2. Cheap knives like these are trash. You will not get the same quality and cutting performance as a $250 knife set.

These are crap. Even poor people shouldn't buy these. Go to a thrift store and buy a good Henckels 8" kitchen knife. Sure, you'll have to sharpen it all the time, but it will last a while. (Get a good diamond stone, 6X3", 600 grit, 800 grit, double sided.) Or just buy a Kyocera chef's knife, and never have to sharpen it, but NO bones! You get what you pay for, quality lasts forever.

I have a set of katisun, but after I bought the tojiro basic & mac superior, I can feel the big difference. Katisun easy to be chipped and not sharp. I recommend to buy made in japan knife with lifetime warranty or 25y warranty to use. The set of katisun I have is light weight, arounf 130g for chef knife but the tojiro basic can be at that weight and much more sharper, light laser on cutting so I dont use any force to cut veggie or meat
