Fantastic game. Filled my need for a turn based JRPG after Expedition 33. Way longer at 120 hrs for me, and the final sequence of events is pretty satisfying.

Expedition 33 was fantastic. How would you compare that with Metaphor?

It's different but similar. It's very similar to Persona 5 with less of the social grinding aspects to build relationships. Theres still a calendar which you need to decide on certain things which passes time that is limited. Characters are fantastic and their background quests are longer and some are very good. Anime graphics compared to semi-realistic. Combat feels very well thought of, deep, without the reactive parry system (but with sort of a hack and slash version for clearing out lower level mobs). Story is well done, some good emotion impacts and so is the voice acting. Although if E33 is S tier, this would be at A tier. I haven't found another game that has the same emotional impact as E33. I enjoyed playing this game more than F7 rebirth and GOW ragnarok which I still haven't beaten yet.
