I will say, Aootek does reply to emails, and they will send you replacements, but they will ask for multiple redundant photos AND videos, needlessly delaying / complicating what should be a simple process. I can only assume hoping you'll get tired of the half dozen emails and give up.

Maybe quality control has gone out the door, but I bought 6 back in 2023 and they are still working.

Hanging in a protected area only works if it gets enough daylight for proper charging.
Once moisture intrusion happens it is impossible to dry them out as the back is permanently installed.
