Community Reviews

The Hobbit Gift Bundle is mainly a collector focused value play, with 9 play boosters, 1 collector booster, a spindown, and themed lands. The collector booster alone is treated as the main draw, since it can sell for around $70 and makes the extra cost over a regular bundle easier to justify. It is less appealing for chasing specific playable cards, where buying singles is the better route. Packaging quality from the vendor was criticized, and the set is seen as poor for favorable pack odds if you are buying for returns.

I'm shocked people aren't jumping on this deal and it's still active. The collector pack is almost worth the box price for this alone.

Only if you get anything worthwhile on the collector pack.

this is not 9x collector boosters. it is 9 play boosters and one collector booster. collector boosters go for ~$70 each.

I think 95 is regular price as Target was selling them for that this price. Regardless they are selling out.

It depends. If you are looking for specific cards to play with, probably not. Just buy the singles.

If you are collecting and trying to get card value, you are more likely to lose less money than if you were opening other packs at the moment. Here's a good site to see what you could land: https://justbuysingles.com/?set=hob

In my opinion, as someone that just likes to gamble on ripping packs, its well worth it. I was thinking about grabbing a regular Hobbit bundle for about $60. Getting a collectors pack for $35 extra is an easy one for me.

as a collector? imo yes. but if you're hunting value, singles are going to be the way to go. personally, i love the hobbit, and ripping packs, so this is a no brainer for me. the spindown is also pretty neat, and im a sucker for pretty land cards.

There's another SD listing for Amazon at 59.99, which is the 'regular' bundle. That is 9 boosters (same as this) with no collector booster. That makes this one a much better bargain. (https://slickdeals.net/f/20028120-59-99-magic-the-gathering-the-hobbit-bundle-at-amazon )

It's just grifters selling to grifters at this point with a few cardgamers getting caught in the crossfire

There's literally nothing on the BB website with this product at that price. I see $250 when searching via google and on the BB site directly.
