I got one of these from AliExpress and it's just great. It's super light and when I'm not using it out of the house it's serving as a UPS for my computer system. Tested that functionality and it works perfectly for my setup.

The US already uses 220/240v. You can run as many 240 circuits as you want in your house already. Major appliances are already on 240 and nothing stops you from using it anywhere you want- it is already served to any residential address.
