      Definitely an affiliate-curated deal. Even though the merchant may not have paid an up-front "sponsorship fee" for a banner ad, Slickdeals earns a commission on every sale made through that link via affiliate tracking. That said, I purchased one recently, as it seemed to be the cheapest set available. Seems fine for $10, but we'll see how they hold up. An electric pepper grinder is a game changer when trying to season food while cooking. It beats having to wash your hand that's been touching food everytime you need to season something with black pepper. The salt grinder usefulness is more questionable. There's really no benefit to freshly ground salt, like there is with black pepper. I may switch the salt grinder with something else, like pink pepper or coriander seeds, etc.

      i think you can use both as pepper mills. I got the Ultrean brand and both units are listed as capable grinders for pepper.

      I bought this exact set in April on a SD for the same price and am happy with it. I see similar sets on here all the time for $20 and see no difference.
