Definitely an affiliate-curated deal. Even though the merchant may not have paid an up-front "sponsorship fee" for a banner ad, Slickdeals earns a commission on every sale made through that link via affiliate tracking. That said, I purchased one recently, as it seemed to be the cheapest set available. Seems fine for $10, but we'll see how they hold up. An electric pepper grinder is a game changer when trying to season food while cooking. It beats having to wash your hand that's been touching food everytime you need to season something with black pepper. The salt grinder usefulness is more questionable. There's really no benefit to freshly ground salt, like there is with black pepper. I may switch the salt grinder with something else, like pink pepper or coriander seeds, etc.

I mentioned it above in my comment, but these are incredibly useful while cooking. I've been a professional chef for over 20 years, and I use an electric grinder at home. I keep a nice wooden pepper mill at the dinner table, but an electric grinder is a game changer while cooking. While cooking/prepping, you normally have a food contact hand and a utensil/knife hand. A normal pepper mill requires two hands. Having to wash your food contact hand every time you need to season something with pepper is annoying and time consuming. These obviously work one-handed, so it's a nice time saver.

I already have the pepper cannon as a grinder, but these are useful for other things like grinding red pepper flakes or other herbs into a fine powder.

I gotta say I prefer this design where you can just twist the whole base to adjust the coarseness vs ones like the TM where you have to adjust by twisting the knob on the bottom that is covered in pepper/salt.
