Community Reviews

This vinyl sale offered strong prices on a wide range of albums and box sets, including new listings that kept appearing during the event. Shoppers picked up titles like Lana Del Rey, Fontaines D.C., Black Pumas, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, and Sleep Token, with some box sets landing around $19.99 and several records under $15. Free shipping worked for logged in Best Buy members, though some carts showed a shipping charge or needed support help. The biggest drawback was shipping quality, with many records arriving in paper envelopes, bent, torn, or even used, while a few orders did arrive well packed.

  • Vinyl frequently arrived with poor packaging, including paper envelopes or bags that led to bent corners and torn shrink wrap.

  • Returns and credits could be slow or difficult, including cases where store returns required mailing and credits could take up to 30 days.

    Snoodlercrabcakescheebong

  • Some orders arrived used or with shipping labels stuck to the front, which raised concerns about handling quality.

    ShrewdFriction642crabcakes

  • Checkout sometimes showed a shipping charge even when the cart displayed free shipping.

List in the first post definitely not exhaustive. A few hours ago I snagged these, which weren't listed:
-beatles - rubber soul
-madvillain - madvillainy
- kendrick - GKMC
- Coldplay - ARoBthH

They seemed to be adding new listings live, could see the albums shifting while browsing. Album count currently is showing about 200 more since even then-- up to 532 listings

It was hardly a criticism! The number of listings has been fluctuating constantly since the post was made.

Just giving people the heads up.

"-madvillain - madvillainy"

Doh - wish I had seen that one before it ended. Oh well, I snagged a couple late yesterday afternoon that I also didn't see anyone else list:

Marilyn Manson - One Assassination Under God ($9.99)
Sleep Token - Take Me To Eden ($14.99)

Yeah think you can return to store or mail - but I have bought records/vinyl for decades and this was the worst shipping just a paper bag. I thought Target's Ebay store was bad.....this was 10 times worse. Fed Ex person left it in the sun instead of the shade also to boot. lol. Best Buy said once they get it back it might take up to 30 days to be credited, huh?? Thing is to check Amazon, I was going to buy 4, but Amazon was price matching 2 of them. So went with them, 9 out of 10 times Amazon is a box in a box. Good Luck , let us know how it goes.

Wish I'd seen this before I ordered 40. I'm sitting at 20 arrived, 17 are beat to shit.
