Why is having a wireless charger in this format compelling? It's really cool tech, but like, why not just plug it in once you're already lugging a separate battery with you?

different use cases. I can see using this around the house mainly as a stand that happens to keep your phone charged. you may not want to deal with a cable. Me personally, I want a battery like this that is 5000 and super slim with no cable for grabbing while running out the door. A 10000 battery without a cable strap isn't so appealing because while you are right about using a cable and charging faster, the magnet is nice to keep it attached to the back of the phone even if you are using the cable.

plugin while moving causes type c wiggle around in the charge port may bent damage charge port, wireless once at 25w is better than 10w and closer to 45w wired charging, think of buying this 90ish powerbank with seperate magnetic kickstand for video, a kickstand along cost 40ish, so in the end not too back, similar to iphone duo vs phone + tablet cost. also for vedio consumption on desk charge port is blocked and wireless give second option, if use wired headphone the wireless charge port is the second port option.

also anker being anker top brand sold in usa, trump used the same charger while in whitehouse doing news brief, so spending 90ish let you use same model brand as trump, another kicker.
