For $4 more, the Deluxe Edition gets you the game + all the DLC. But the DLC makes the story much easier with 'cheat dungeons'.

So I only recommend saving that DLC for a second playthrough.

There's no New Game Plus mode, so you'd play the story mode, and then do whatever post-game material you can. And then if you want to play it again later, you'd have to start over. But the DLC makes that second playthrough much easier.
