I'm far from a shill, but of all the cheapo Chinese weird-name earbuds I've bought over the years, the tozo ones have consistently been among the best in terms of sound and battery.

there are tons of better earbuds, but not many better earbuds for $14. getting another 'backup' pair... I need help

I have these and they are decent ear buds for $30. They are very small, and the price @$13 is normal. Another sleeper which was $20 forever were the crystal buds. They were seriously updated and about $27. NC9 pros came out too at $50.

I've had a different experience. I've owned three TOZO T10 sets. The first set was great, lasting almost 2 years before dying on me. The next two sets (one was a warranty replacement) were not only awful, but significantly revised from the originals I bought. They were physically smaller, including the case, which reduced both playback and reserve battery life, and they both started having problems mere WEEKS into ownership. Doing some research, I learned that TOZO has been known to change the BOM and schematics of their products without notice. I had recommended them to my friends for years, but no more.

I ended up switching to Anker Soundcore. No issues yet in my P20i or P31i, for not much more money. Better app functionality too imo. I'm too old for lootboxes.

I have a pair of Soundcores too, amazing value when you catch a sale. I'll see how these new tozos stack up against my old ones. definitely not a fan of switching form and function to most likely save a buck.

Tozo makes good ear buds for the price. I had a pair of T10's from 2019 and while they sounded good for the price paid, within a few months they would die within 2 hours or less and the case wasn't holding charge well.

Fast forward to July last year and I gave them another shot with the T18's which are great! They last as long as advertised so far and they like the T10's have a wirelessly rechargeable case that holds it's charge as well as should be expected. I like their app they have and that the T18's have customizable sound and equalizer. I understand the T10's do now also, but I couldn't go back to those after my original experience.
