Don't buy seeds from Amazon, especially from a 3rd party seller like this.If you want to grow herbs inside, this is not a great way to do it.
I made this mistake and had some funky-ass vegetables this year. Melon-shaped zucchini and melon shaped cucumber were my favorites. The carrots turned out normal though. Jalapeños haven't grown taller than a few inches and they've been sprouted for months lol
As a starter kit for a beginner this is pretty cheap. You can obviously buy everything separately with "higher quality " but this comes with everything needed to start and cheapest price.
Pots - Can't find pot size but they look like 3-4 inch pots with above average drainage and saucers to keep from dripping.
Soil - peat pellets or coco coir. Soak in hot water and squeeze it till it feels like a moist sponge. It works. Less messy.
Seeds - USA sourced? Either way they seem to come with a decent amount.
Just say $1 per pot plus saucers, saucers don't usually come either pots but you'll need em. $1 per bag of seeds is decent and cheaper than most places honestly. The tools are generic but will work and the plant labels to remember what is what, write it on the pot too. $2 for those.
It's probably a lot of seeds and plants for a beginner to look after and germination is just following the directions of every seed, proper depth, soaking.. but if I wanted to just get a beginner's kit this has everything.
Gardening can get expensive though. But a great hobby and relaxing. Just my opinions
