Not the lowest price ever after searching here (seems like the $110 before was hit or miss for in app purchase). But I wanted to post this deal because the speaker is same or better than Boom 2 Plus, which I have never seen lower than $169.99 for new.

For $30 less than current B2Plus you get:
Same sound
Better IP rating protection, now including dust
Front grill is metal with a cloth mesh behind it, probably for the dust protection. Some say it is European version, but mine came in an outer box that was Anker re-used with Anker tape. The Pro is also listed on FCC - I don't know why they don't advertise/sell it the states much.

Sounds like a win win for beach use.

I got mine yesterday and here are some observations:
It's the blueish color. Limited YouTube videos on the subject claimed that the Pro only comes in black, but apparently not.
The sound is absolutely amazing for the price and size.

Comparison vs Boom 2 (I had 3 at one point from Costco deals):
Much bigger, perceived as 2x.
Much heavier, perceived as 2x.
Much louder and more bass, perceived as 2x.
Light show is even better as radiators protrude a bit more.
The addition of dedicated light button was necessary (hold for 1s to toggle on/off, normal press to switch modes)
Too much of speaker for indoor portable. Two Boom 2 paired in stereo would be better than one B2P for indoors or outdoors sheltered are (if you can place B2 in front of a wall for example).
Much better for open outdoors. Boom 2 would not fill up my soul at open outdoors. This one absolutely does. Think beach volleyball field etc. B2P is absolutely amazing boombox for the price. Boom 2 is amazing for the price($70 or under when it was at Costco), very light and convenient, but it isn't powerful enough for outdoor party sound.

Comparison to JBL sound:
Soundcore sound is much more balanced than the harsh JBL (Thump Tssss). The EQ actually works and can tune it pretty much the way you want with so many bands and it is kind of parametric. Sound is not muffled like some Sony speakers.

From what I saw, Pro isn't better than Plus. It lacks few features, which I don't remember now.

I spent half a day researching it, including reading reviews on Amazon.de (Germany) where there are a few comparison user reviews. Didn't see anything missing in the Pro, it's the other way around, unless you like plastic speaker grille and better dust protection. One guy claimed that the speakers sound slightly different that the Plus, as the body is allegedly better sealed. At the end he said both are great.

Not correct. You can grab the specifications or manuals of each - they are identical on paper for features and function. Besides some color/font/styling differences in the manuals, they're word for word the same.

I believe the Pro wasn't for sale retail in the USA, or at least initially. The Anker/Soundcore website doesn't list the Pro, even today, but it's on the European site.

I bought same unit from woot. It's a great speaker. Good value at this price.
