This is the truth! I drug a very small file through mine a few times and it helped quite a bit but really life is too short to buy these things.

I wouldn't say trash. I saw the reviews that said they do not grip or line up very well. For $4, I thought worth a try. The day after they arrived, I put a Nespresso capsule in my machine without checking if the capsule container had room. . The one that dropped got stuck and bent when I tried to remove the container. After struggling (without caffeine!) using scissors, screw driver, knife, tape, I thought of these tweezers. 10 seconds later, the capsule was unstuck and I had coffee! Smilie

There are probably better tools and no doubt, better tweezers, but they worked for me when I needed to MacGyver a bent coffee pod. Smilie
