It's good that there are nice people like you to guide people to better deals. I locked in on that dewalt kit last year for a smokin deal. I think $85 or someone.

That has been the greatest deal on any large mechanics socket set since the beginning of SD, barring price mistakes. I picked up two of those sets during that sale. The ratchets need some oil. You can take them apart carefully but be very careful you dont break the reverse gear. I did, and DeWalt sent me a new ratchet. Great company.

Not so sure about that - I did get the 192 pc set for ~$100 like 6 months ago, and while it's quite complete, man does it put a load on your wrist/elbow/shoulder - it's seriously heavy. I also have the 226 piece set, which is even heavier and I use that on my Total Gym inclined bench to add an extra weight to my workout (the 40lbs equates to 20lb of cable resistance at maximum bench inclination)

The 192 piece set is the best all around. I have 2 of them now, 1 for my garage and 1 in my trunk. It is worth paying more for that one because it has more useful tools in it that most people would need while having fewer pieces that are not useful.
