BTW, I easily removed the swim suit liners on the four pairs I kept - I never intended to use these near water. Just cut around the top where the liner and waistband meet. Took less than 5 min. per pair. I find the shorts hang more naturally now, where previously they seemed to bunch up a bit at the groin.
