But Waterdrop has more certifications than this one. Even with the higher price, I ended up getting Waterdrop.

NSF/ANSI 42 isn't enough for you? Why?

Crazy 200gal is nothing. I just buy the 5 year in line filters, 5k-10k gallons $20 and have no issues with my drinking water..they're NSF42 as well. because its inline under my sink I can split the feed to my water dispenser, a water tap, and to the coffee maker if I wanted to.

Yeah, fridge filters are meant to be bypassed and fed from a decent filter that isn't a profit line item for the fridge manufacturer.

I did the same but it's behind the fridge. It has the in-line 5 year filter and these filters in the bottom of the fridge for extra filtration potential.

Garbage! The OEM Everydrop Refrigerator Water Filter 1 - EDR1RXD1
has NSF 42, 53 and 401. This water filter only has 42 not worth the price its sold for.
Make sure you look for these 3 certifications at minimum for all water filters.

NSF Certifications
NSF/ANSI Standard 42: Reduces aesthetic impurities like chlorine taste and odor.
NSF/ANSI Standard 53: Reduces health-related contaminants, including lead, pesticides, and 99% of microplastics (over 70 contaminants total).
NSF/ANSI Standard 401: Reduces incidental emerging compounds such as certain pharmaceuticals and prescription drugs.

Get this one that has all 3 certs like this one https://www.amazon.com/Waterdrop-...0D9483CL8/
or the Original OEM Everydrop Refrigerator Water Filter 1 - EDR1RXD1

Naw you don't need to filter it twice waste of money. You don't have to put the inline one behind the bridge, you can put it on top of the fridge or under the sink for easy access.

I wouldn't be paying that much, this is already an upgrade from drinking straight from the tap which is fine in most places unless you're in Flint Michigan or something.

Thanks for pointing it out. Was going for it. Just checked my current one, it has 42, 53 and 401. I don't feel comfortable with this one only has 42 now.
