I know it's definitely been as high as $20 for at least once during the past 2 years. But I assume ShopRite is cutting back these gift card deals due to the economy since I have to believe this is a loss leader for them to get people in the door.

They have had in the past usually around holidays 15% or 20% back in store credit. Includes all gift cards besides Visa, MasterCard and ShopRite gift cards. I usually get gas station or eBay gift cards.

Unfortunately, you may not be able to get gas station or eBay gift cards anymore going forward.

Thanks for posting this!....They're gouging prices on many items (in all supermarkets), so it's not really a "loss leader". $15 is a joke to them (relatively speaking). They'll profit greatly from the additional traffic this brings into the store.

Spend $100 for $15 off in my opinion is not a good deal. From time to time CVS does Spend $50 get $10 ECB or sometimes its $15 ECB

"$15 off" isn't super awesome. But since this is for groceries at a supermarket, this is basically $15 off a purchase you were going to make anyway (assuming you shop at supermarkets for groceries/meat/food/etc).

In comparison, CVS ExtraBucks Rewards have to be used on their overpriced items. And you can't use it for prescriptions (which is like if you get a reward at Starbucks Coffee, but you can't use it for coffee products).
