Thank you. My store didn't have it on shelf but the associate was able to go in the backroom and grab it for me. Rang up as $15

There was one left at my Target. Marked clearance to $25 but it rang up $15.

It's my understanding that the game is pretty good. Negative reviews are largely in the minority. Do with that what you will

Silent Hill F on PlayStation 5 is showing up as a clearance find at Target, with the best cases ringing up at $15 when an associate pulls it from the back or it is found in the electronics clearance section. The game appears to have very limited in store stock, and the Target app does not show the clearance price, so in store scanners matter. The main catch is inconsistent pricing, with the same copy also ringing up at $24.99, $25, $30, $49.99, $50, $51.99, or even $59. A handy clearance hunt if you can verify the price before heading out.

Some copies found in the Electronics clearance section can ring up around $24.99.

Some Target locations have the game marked clearance at $25 but it scans at $15.
jaylisjayp2653
Some stores can retrieve the game from the backroom and still ring it up at $15.
EvisuNotDiesel
Some in-store price scanners reflect clearance pricing even when the Target app does not show it.

Other Target stores have the game ring up at $49.99 or $50 instead of the advertised low price.

In-store shelf labels can show one price while the register scans a much higher amount.
tmaxx123
Limited stock and inconsistent scan prices can make it hard to justify driving between multiple Targets.
thikthird
Some stores cannot locate the item even when online inventory shows copies, and the eventual scan can be far higher.

Common Questions (4)

It can ring up at $15, but many stores price it much higher, including $24.99, $25, $30, $49.99, $50, $51.99, and $59. The deal is clearly YMMV, so the shelf tag or online inventory is not a reliable indicator of the final register price.

Yes, some stores can retrieve it from the backroom even when it is not on the shelf. In other stores, associates said they could not check the back, so availability depends on the location and staff.
EvisuNotDiesel khaleel123 Minions nahsuie
Probably only if you are willing to gamble on store-by-store pricing, because stock is limited and the same game can scan anywhere from $15 to nearly $60. Several stores had copies in the back but still rang them up far above the advertised low price.

No, the in-store clearance price does not show in the Target app. The price has to be checked with an in-store scanner, which is why the app can be misleading for this deal.

My store has 4 on hand but the associate I talked to said it's in the back somewhere and he can't go look for it. Customer service guy said just order it, I told him the online price is different. So anyway it's not possible to have an associate actually check the back at my store. Good help is hard to come by these days.

I got the same nonsense... Oh sorry the key is jammed and we can't access it. Like what a high level of incompetence.

Order it for pick up, walk to returns, return it and then ask to re buy immediately, if the in-store price is $15 it should ring up for that (I have done this for other items such as controllers and different games)
