Well, the drill they have listed for $129 sounds good at first, but Home Depot has the same drill/driver with a bag, charger, , 2 batteries - plus a free third battery for $149. $20 more. I'd double-check for better deals here. Home Depot for the win on this one.

Well, the drill they have listed for $129 sounds good at first, but Home Depot has the same drill/driver with a bag, charger, , 2 batteries - plus a free third battery for $149. $20 more. I'd double-check for better deals here. Home Depot for the win on this one.

Yeah, there are others like that -- the M12 Stick Water Pump is like $105 on Woot -- but I just got it with 2x5Ah batteries for $200 -- so yeah, some of the prices aren't great. I just bought the M12 Hatchet Chainsaw for $90 -- again, HD has it with 2x5Ah for $199. So if you need batteries, HD may be equivalent with much easier returns and such.

Just a heads up. Amazon (and Woot by extension) is NOT a registered Milwaukee dealer. doesn't mean these aren't real products, just that if you try to get warranty support or the batteries fail early, Milwaukee will not honor it.

Where does this non-sense come from? Milwaukee warranty does not care where you bought it from. You could buy a drill 2nd hand from a flea market.
All you need is a valid serial number to submit warranty.

Unless things have recently changed it's partially accurate. Milwaukee's 5 year warranty is from the purchase date (from a valid retailer) or from the date code on the tool if you don't have a proof of purchase from a valid/approved retailer.
