Mediocre speaker. I bought this, and then the Onn Medium gen2 party speaker a couple weeks later for $41. This Milwaukee thing has been sitting unused in the garage since.

The Milwaukee sounds terrible in comparison, doesn't get as loud (although it's close on battery power, as the Onn has less output when not plugged into the wall), and has no water resistance rating. The Onn thing is IPX7 rated and I wash off the dirt/mud with the hose, blow dry with a leafblower.

The Milwaukee sure lasts longer on battery though - notably with all the 8.0/9.0Ah packs I have. Consumes less power (weaker speaker output) and the different battery options makes that one the king of runtime possibilities. The Onn should have the same capacity as a small M18 2.0Ah pack. I only get about 5 hours of runtime on the Onn, with FM radio and medium-to-high volumes, outdoor on the property (no neighbor for over 1/8 mile).

These jobsite stereos are indeed all quite terrible for the price Frown

Sweet, thanks for posting! I've been waiting for this jobsite radio to pop up on here. I'm not sure if it's a particularly good deal or not but its mere presence here on SD is excuse enough for me to finally pick it up. In other words, you're now considered an enabler to my Milwaukee addiction and, as we all know, an addict always appreciates a good enabler.
