You may not have lost them, try wiring them in parallel for a few minutes with a known good/charged battery and then plop them back on the charger. Sometimes they discharge too low and wont get the charger to recognize them but you can wake them up by giving them some juice from another battery.

At least it's just inflation. Too many items today have shrinkflation as well where we pay more for less.

That said, while these batteries are the gold standard, since when did $2 off become a Slick Deal?

Bought this in 3/2013. I recently lost about 1/2 the AA batteries (use them the most) but the rest are still going strong! They have been supplemented with more Enloops and Ikea batteries. Wish I could buy just the case.

That does work, but jolts the battery a bit Big Grin

Better to keep a cheap dumb charger around for this purpose. Charge the "dead" battery with the dumb charger for around ten minutes, and it will have enough voltage for the smart charger to accept.
