Zoj - takes an hour but the rice is delicious
Whether it's made in China or Japan or India or Vietnam, etc… Asians know their rice. It's not like this rice cooker is going to send data back to China.
I'm Filipino, if this were made anywhere other than in Asia, I'd wonder "do they really know how to make a rice cooker that actually makes really good rice?"

I decided to buy a Cuckoo, the pressure cooker-type rice cooker and sold my Zojirushi
on FB Marketplace after owning it for 5 happy yrs… for some reason I thought I needed a new rice cooker and decided to buy the Cuckoo to see what all the hype was about..
the Cuckoo cooked the rice in about 20 mins and cooked decent rice. The Zojirushi took about 1hr to cook, but the rice was just better… fluffier.
I'm team Zojirushi. I'll take a Zojirushi over Cuckoo any day.
