Not a bad deal. These are made by Apple and the same quality as the ones that came with your iPhone.

I've seen the USB A to USB C at $5. Never seen the USB C to C for less than $7 each

if anyone sees a <$5 1yard or 1meter 25w-60w let me know, it's at
my desk so durability is not important, just C-C and the right length.

update, nvm, found this 3' 2 for $5;
https://www.amazon.com//dp/B0FFGKM1T7/

for the same $5 here's a 2x 4' (what i bought);
https://www.amazon.com//dp/B0D9QBM31B/
(remeasured desk, extra 1' may come in handy)

these are the kind of cables you won't
get cheaper as part of a aliexpress buy.

How is this even a deal? 1 cable for $7.60? When you can get 2 pack, 6 FT ea, 100W from reliable brand Anker for $9.99... https://a.co/d/0cof28K9

Everything better than this deal.

Although I fully agree with your point, I think the selling point here is it essentially being engineered by Apple itself, for just $2 more per cable (if you get the black 2-pack for $14). Apple's woven cables are usually pretty expensive, so, for what these are, it's a good deal. (Despite, yes, being a foot shorter, and only the default 60W instead of 100W. Anker's craftsmanship hasn't been AS good as it once was, but still good enough for most people; there is value in having peace of mind that this is directly from Apple and with their known Woven quality). Hope this helps.

The feel and texture of this cable is way better than that.

You can get it as little as $6.40 each on Woot but you have to buy five. Been that price for the last couple months.

Unless you're getting it for the aesthetics, 65W cables don't require the chip that higher wattage cables do. I have a mix of devices running off woven 65W cables on tenu which passed all my USB-C testing; I haven't found any USB-C 65w cables that were unable to deliver the advertised voltage

You're making the case that the 100watt cables are much higher quality and better value. Those chips are excellent and protect your device from over charging and over voltage etc
