I bought this exact model. I was upgrading from a lower tier type projector, nexigo pj40. The optima is better in almost every respect except it doesn't come with a lens cover, and it shoots the image at an angle I had a hard time getting aligned. The pj40 shot it straight out while the pk32 shoots it at an up angle. Not really a problem, and that could be the norm for projectors for all I know. The one thing I was disappointed with is that I expected it to play 3d, but for all the research I did I could only find that it does "PC 3d." I couldn't get 3d to work with my PS3 or UHD player. I bought dlp glasses, tried everything I could think of. When I turn 3d on the projector also turn a green tint. TLDR; don't get this projector for 3d.

It's pretty good for 500 but I ended up returning since my projection distance in the den only gets me a 100 inch diagonal where my old epsom yields 115 and it's actually a big difference
