I randomly looked online and found the Insta 360 X5 on clearance for 399.97 in my local warehouses. Some had in stock and there were a few with low stock. I went to my local store and they had one left after I purchased one. The pricing shows $549.00 online but if you search carefully at your local store you may find the clearance price. I just discovered when I went back in to my local store site that they are now sold out. Move quickly if you want this generation. Good luck fellow tightwads.

Edit- Use the Costco app to find the deal in your zip code!

The Insta360 X5 bundle is showing up as a Costco clearance find at $399.97, often with stock hidden off the floor rather than on display. The bundle has been easy to locate through the warehouse inventory search using SKU 9536005, but the app can lag or show low stock, pending delete, or out of stock while units remain in store. The value looks strongest for buyers who want the camera plus storage and battery extras, since those add up quickly. The main drawback is availability, and the X5 itself may feel less compelling for anyone who does not want to edit and frame 360 video.
Costco shoppers near a warehouse with stock, because the bundle has been found at $399.97 even when online inventory looked empty.
Action-camera buyers who want a 360 camera for travel clips, because the bundle can land under $300 after factoring in memory card and battery costs.
Creators comfortable with editing and reframing 360 footage, because the camera works well when you have a knack for those workflows.
Shoppers trying to get a price adjustment after the clearance drop, because Costco limits adjustments to 30 days and may refuse when stock is gone.
Creators who want simple point-and-shoot video, because the 360 workflow can be frustrating if editing and framing do not come naturally.
Buyers expecting the newer model's low-light performance, because the X5 can feel dated once you compare it with the X6 in dim scenes.
