Adidas has their Classic-inspired World Cup "Mash-up" soccer ball (size 5) on sale for $68 - plus an additional 30% off with coupon code FRESH takes it down to $47.60. Join their free AdiClub program for free shipping.

I love the retro design of this ball - as I always wanted a Tango or Etruscan ball when I was a kid. So nostalgic! FIFA Quality Pro for under $50 (MSRP of $170).

After posting this I saw a recent deal where folks mentioned this ball & price. I missed that Pro Winter ball, but personally I do prefer this one (granted the technology might be slightly better with the Trionda).

On one hand the price is great compared to original MSRP but I own a couple FIFA pro Adidas balls and I don't think they feel all that great imo. Much prefer the touch and feel on the puma copa America pro ball.

The Adidas tend to be harder at the same psi than the puma balls. My kids always pick the puma over the Adidas even though the Adidas are great looking balls. The new Puma nitro balls they are using in premier and Laliga are really nice. My kids pick the competition quality pro puma over the Adidas match balls. To actually play with even though they are nice looking.

That being said if I didn't already have way too many balls can't beat the price on this. It will just end up next to the MLS and club world cup pro balls not being used if I get it. Now if it stays around long enough to drop under 40 I'll have to do it just for the look.

Agreed for most of my recent Adidas balls, though I do think the Trionda improved the softer feel compared to their other offerings (thinking the al rihla and champions league balls). I put the orbita 1 a little bit above the Trionda but I have liked playing the Trionda this summer.

Durability of the Trionda seems to be horrible, though. We play on grass and after 3 months my Trionda developed like 4 different areas of the seams breaking. Still haven't heard back from Adidas about a warranty replacement.
