Unavailable in my area (MA). I really want the QM8K for gaming, but nobody has the 65" in stock. Anyone have a suggestion for a mini LED gaming TV? I might settle for the QM6K pro. This will be in a dark room, and I don't want an OLED.

is there something wrong with the QM9K, does it perform worse for gaming?

Apparently there's a little more motion blur compared to qm8k. I also want to pay under $800.

According to rtings.com the Qm9K has better off angle viewing than the Qm8

The QM9K has the updated Gemini operating platform that the higher end 2026 TCL's have
The QM8k has the older version

I was talking about blur when playing video games. I believe the QM8K was rated a little better.

from rtings.com

"The TCL QM9K is slightly better than the TCL QM8K, at least in theory. The QM9K gets a bit brighter in both HDR and SDR, and it can sustain that brightness longer. This doesn't actually matter that much, though, as most HDR content won't hit highlights that bright or for that long, so in most real content, it looks about the same as the QM8K. The QM9K does have a more recent smart interface, though, as it runs the Google TV version 14 instead of 12 on the QM8K; it also supports Google's Gemini AI assistant."

I dont see anything about gaming differences

Based on what I see I would pay the $100 extra for the QM9K
