Why your average person would want one:

it should fit your water heater anode rod that you change every 3-5 years, right?

price is good for the brand, but not amazing.

Why your average *boater* person would want one:

Propeller nuts are usually 1-1/16 inch (27mm). I carry one in my "oh shit" bag.

Buy the socket on sale to justify the high torque impact you'll need to get that "3-5 year old" anode rod out and save your water heater!

I swear it feels like I'm about to twist the tank in half every time I remove or install one tho.

Powered anodes are handy but $$$ tho will outlast something else failing on your heater, probably a few times over.

My anode was so stuck, I was worried I'd break something and gave up. My water heater has two anodes so maybe I'm OK.

Why your average vintage Land Rover (Series era) owner would want one: Lug nuts.

I use 1-1/16 socket on my Andersen weight distribution hitch tension chains. Already have a backup, $3 from Re-Store. Saved $3.50! Yes!
