I spotted this on clearance at my local store for $26.97 yesterday and went back first thing this morning and bought it. Other nearby stores show as $54 or out of stock. I wish it was $14, but still happy I was able to get one for $27. I'd recommend going to your store if you plan to purchase so you can pick it out yourself. Several of the ones my store had in stock were pretty beat up, and I had to test out about 5 different lids to find one that fit properly. The reviews on these aren't the greatest and the lid could definitely be better. It seems like it will work for it's intended purpose, but the plastic definitely isn't as sturdy as you would find with other brands. I can't justify paying more than I did for a garbage can - hopefully this one holds up long enough to feel like I got my money's worth.
