You are mistaken and they screwed up because the buy 1 get free offer you saw on the kiosk was supposed to be for like a free figure or something when you buy select Pokemon games or something along those lines. I saw signage for it posted. That's what the B1G1 free offer actually is. They would never do B1G1 free on video games, let alone Nintendo games, let alone Pokemon titles, so whomever may have overridden it is both poorly-trained and uninformed.

edit: they don't even run the buy 2 get 1 free promo on select video games anymore and haven't for quite some time now, so yeah

The point is the kiosk is not displaying the full information there, genius. Yeah it's on Target for not being more detailed in that respect, but that doesn't change the reality of what the promotion actually is, nor does your alleged successful abuse of it. You have multiple people in here saying the same thing.
