Fantastic water filter. Mine has lasted 7 years on my main kitchen faucet. With no noticeable loss in water pressure. This is not an ultimate water filtration, like RO, that removes 99.9% of everything, but its for heavy usage like water used for cooking and washing, watering plats, etc; where RO would run out for the day with just one pot of pasta, and others would take an hour to fill a pot. This is a perfect balance between good filtration and good water pressure, and its unique in fitting under the sink as almost same performance as whole-house filter. You can get 5 year whole-house filters but they dont fit under the sink. Everything else under the sink needs constant filter changes. NOTE: there is no replaceable filter for the simple reason that after 5 years you would want to replace the lines and the housing anyway- of any device, for safety. And this thing is cheaper than most filter that do this capacity. The materials are legit, they use Japanese KDF-55 not just cheap carbon (charcoal)
